We are in search of a few good people.

If you are in search of finding a way to have a direct impact on the health and stability of the planet, join us in making the world a better place for all.

Welcome to CDG Adventure! We offer a unique opportunity for individuals to actively participate in international sustainable development projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  • As a participant, you will become an integral part of our team, residing and working in various parts of the world to improve the quality of life for communities, ecosystems, and species. Please note that this experience involves hands-on work, and modest accommodations and meals are provided while on site. Throughout the 8 to 10 day period, you will work approximately 5 hours per day, allowing you to explore the region and engage in its unique attributes during the evenings and weekend.

  • The cost of your participation covers on-site meals and accommodations, your donation to the project/recipient community and/or region, as well as your fees and contributions towards Clean Development Group's international work, equipment, and services. Therefore, you are able to make a donation to sustainable development and see where your support is going by actually participating in the project itself. During certain projects we cover the expenses for one undergraduate or graduate student, including their participation, travel, and a small stipend. The chosen student is selected randomly from universities and colleges worldwide, based upon recommendations from their professors or thesis advisor. As our project participants come from all over the world, and each project takes place in different parts of the world, all participants are responsible for organizing and funding their own transportation to the project site (with the exception of the student awarded participation); while we arrange pickup and drop-off at the nearest airport, train/bus station, or port of call.

  • We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference and crave an exceptional and transformative experience. Whether you are an experienced traveller, an expert in international sustainable development or not, you do not require any special skills, the projects are open to all over 18 years of age (there is no age limit), and to people from every part of the world. A patient and diplomatic nature is preferred, as our collaborative efforts and commitment as a team are essential. Additionally, there should be no visa or other restrictions between your country and the country where the project takes place.

  • We recommend bringing your necessary medications, ample sunscreen, and suitable clothing for both work and protection from the elements (e.g., quick dry long-sleeve shirts and pants, a wide-brimmed hat with a drawstring, good shoes, reef shoes and/or boots, etc.). Our open to the public projects take place in locations without known active geopolitical issues, severe weather conditions, seismic/volcanic activity, biological hazards, poisonous snakes or insects, large predators, or extreme remoteness. If you have any specific medical concerns that may affect your participation, please inform us in advance so that we can take necessary precautions to try to address them accordingly should an issue arise. It is also advised to inform your healthcare provider about the nature of the project you intend to participate in if you have any health concerns or require any additional vaccines.

  • Participating in CDG Adventure will be a life-changing experience, benefiting not only yourself but also the recipient communities, ecosystems, and the world as a whole. These projects often forge deep connections and friendships while creating lasting memories. Upon completion, you will receive a formal certificate from CDG and the local government and/or United Nations body, recognizing your valuable contributions. Please note that your payment is fully refundable (minus the credit card transaction fees) until 10 weeks prior to the project start date, after which it will be allocated to project expenses, so no longer refundable. If you cannot participate, kindly notify us promptly, so we can accommodate participants from our waiting list.

  • Our expertise and achievements have been formally recognized by the United Nations, and we have been actively involved in international sustainable development for over 20 years and in on-the-ground development projects since 2007. As a tremendous amount of work, time, effort, expertise, negotiations and organization go into each and every project, all we ask is for your patience and understanding in providing us typically 3-5 days to respond to your questions.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope that you will join us in making the world a happier and healthier place.

* We may not be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions, but we do provide both traditional and vegetarian options.

* For those participants taking part in our coral restoration projects you will need to provide your own properly fitted mask and snorkel. Fins are considered optional considering the shallow dives that we plan to do. Reef shoes are also useful.

Participation in our projects ranges from $995US to $5495US per person. Price ranges are directly determined by the type of project and the amount of research, equipment and additional assistance required. For example, a sophisticated water filtration or hybrid solar/wind installation will typically cost more than a community agriculture or wildlife rehabilitation centre project. The project price includes: Your meals and accommodations while on site; your project donation; your certificate and your costs to CDG. As each project is in a different part of the world, and each participant is usually coming from a different part of the world, all participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and costs to get to the closest major airport to the project site (where a CDG representative will pick you up and bring you out to site, as well as return you to the airport at the end of the project).
