Returns & Refunds policy

You are entitled to cancel or return your order within 30 days by providing a clear reason for doing so. In the case of professional courses, you are entitled to cancel your order within 15 days, but we require a written explanation for your refund request. In the case of refunds for CDG Adventure, you are entitled to cancel your order for a full refund (minus your credit card processing fees) up to 10 weeks prior to the start of the project that you purchased/donated to. If a project is cancelled - whether due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances - you will also be fully refunded (minus any small credit card processing fee for those who paid by credit card).

The deadline for cancelling an order is 30 days from the date you received the goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered. Concerning bookings for CDG Adventure, we will provide a full refund (minus your credit card processing fees) up to 10 weeks prior to the start date of the project which was purchased. After which, no refunds are available as the funds are released at that point to the costs and expenses related to each project and its final preparations.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear, written statement (i.e., email). With respect to CDG Adventure projects, it is critical that we have enough people in attendance in order to conduct each project, as we work in teams. Therefore, cancellations can pose a significant challenge for a project, by impacting how the project is funded, supported and carried out. This can have a direct impact upon the recipient communities of the projects. Therefore, we ask that you inform us as soon as you are able, if you cannot attend, so that we may attempt to find someone to replace you and provide that individual ample time to prepare.

You can inform us of your decision by e-mail at scott@cdgenergy.com

We will reimburse you no later than 30 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods, or notification of your cancellation of attendance in one of our projects. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement (minus your credit card processing fees).

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods to the following address:

In the case of physical items, contact us first to notify us, and we will provide the best physical address for return based upon the type of item. We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and traceable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Gifts:

If the goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give it to you later, we will send the refund to the gift giver.
